The Thrifted Wardrobe – Herringbone and Denim

Sometimes the easiest, no-brainer outfits turn out to be major confidence boosters. There’s no magical skill required to pair a blazer with a blouse, jeans and boots – but the style factor in this outfit is definitely in the details. And the confidence it gave me, just by wearing it, is apparent in the photos.

The blazer is a fantastic wool herringbone pattern with suede details near the collar and on the elbows. It’s also Ralph Lauren, which was an exciting find at the Santa Ana Goodwill.

Speaking of confidence, a good photographer can help you channel that feeling into a great set of photos. Whether you’re a blogger like me, or someone who simply needs some family photos, Michelle Carrillo of The Suitcase Studio is your go-to gal for a photo shoot. She has a fantastic eye for shooting and always makes her subjects feel at ease.
